KUCI: Half Past Five

MORE SHOW, YOU GUYS! This week, I interviewed returning guest Sara Rodriguez and Darby Vickers, creators of the podcast, "Odyssey & Chill." We talked a whole bunch about Homer's "The Odyssey" and Greek Mythology- two things I should know much more about than I do. So it'll be as much a learning experience for you guys as it was for me!
Fun Fact: The interview both opens and closes with me saying "Thank you guys so much for coming on the show", Sara replying, "Thanks for having us", then me saying, "Much appreciated." CRAZY, RIGHT?!

We back with our first normal, prerecorded interview again and, boy howdy, is it a DOOZY! I sat down with actor, Derick Gonzalez, to discuss his commitment to his craft, the tribulations that come with being an actor in the latinx community, and we did some silly voices. It was a hoot! Enjoy...

Also, the inspiring story of a radio announcer guy who overcame the odds and proved to the world that he wasn't ready to go out without a fight. Truly the "Rudy" of public radio. You won't wanna miss this one, folks.

To celebrate my new time slot and a return to titular normalcy, I was fortunate to have on a grade-A guest: The one and only (NOTE: I cannot confirm that he is actually the one and only) Patrick Bornhop! Patrick is an up-and-coming stand-up comic based out of Orange County and is well on his way to taking over the d*ng world. We discussed the transition from the open mic circuit to becoming a full-fledged comic, the bizarre nature of one Jordan Peterson, and the time Patrick bombed a set in front of David Koechner.
